Javier Montero is an illustrator and writer. He has published the novel Guerra Ambiental, conducts performances and stage works with which he has participated in many festivals, runs videos, participate in art exhibitions--- He directs La Oveja Negra radio programm (Radio Círculo, 100.4 FM) based on his sonic experimentation and narrative. He is currently finishing a new novel and involved in various art projects visible and invisible.
The spoken words series, organized by Hablar en Arte, continues its meetings of poetry and literature on the stage. After the last session where AJo, Gonzalo Escarpa,the Hotel Kafka school and Bukowski Club made every night a success, this third meeting will take place on Thursday January 29 to 21 hours at La Casa de los Jacintos. This evening we will have the Catalan poet Josep Pedrals as a guest artist for opening night, and the second part, an open microphone session for anyone wishing to go on the stage to defend their texts,we will have on stage some young writers and poets from Legados ediciones.

Third Session Palabras Habladas

Palabras Habladas was created to make a space where artists and the public can come together to practice spoken word, a discipline where writers, poets and musicians unify to stage the encounter between words and music on stage
The series, which will be celebrated throughout 2009 in the space Camon de Alicante, wants to bring to the public this discipline that has been recently circulated in Spain and has proceeded in making the selection of artists. On one side, we have some principle references within national spoken word. In this line we found the writer Bruno Galindo, who will unite the music scene and poet Javier Corcobado to open the series on the 31 st of January. Also we count on the presence of notable spoken word figure in Spain , Ajo, who will bring to the space Camon her spectacular Cardiovascular Striptease. Also, in this line is Josep Pedrals one of the most active voices in Catalan, who will show in Alicante his recent project Voces de Ultratómbola. El Chojín, one of the most respected national rappers will utilize his texts while incorporating music . In this line, next sessión we have Madrid musician Algora together with one of Los Planetas Florent Muñoz, creating a promising unedited collaboration.
But the project Palabras Habladas is not only a demonstration of prominent artists inside the sphere of national spoken word, but also a participatory approach to poetry. For them, during 2009 there will be two poetry slam workshops, a discipline that combines poetry and stage. The workshops will be free and promote a place of teaching and finding in oneself a didactic character, this will complete the series Palabras Habladas. The two workshops will invite two writers Josep Pedrals and Julio Jara.

February 3 – April 20, 2009
The Exibition, Eulalia Valldosera Dependencias, organized by the Reina Sofia, recovers an ample selection of works by this artist that spans from 1990 until the present. It is designed to meet two objectives. On one hand, to present the most recent works ( Dependencias, a monumental installation of participatory character), that has been produced specifically for this exposition and because of that one could say that Valledosera has opened a new cycle in her life. On the other hand, she has revised the evolution of her work since the beginning until the end of the eighties, incorporating her notebooks that have been poorly represented in previous exhibitions, to give knowledge to her intense period of reflection between the years of 1990 and 1992.
Hablar en Arte collaborates in this exhibition as mediators coordinating the program room, which will help you find and discover the interaction with the works by the visiting public .

CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM OF MADRID
From January to June, 2009
The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo and the Asociación Hablar en Arte have initiated a program, to begin in October, of dynamic school visits to the museum. The activity is directed to primary school students in Madrid , and the goal is to give the children their first contact with contemporary art and the museum in an enjoyable, entertaining and fun way.

From October 2008 to june 2009.
The Fundación Lázaro Galdiano and the Asociación Hablar en Arte, with the collaboration of Ibercaja and the Ministerio de Cultura, are running a program of activities for 2008-2009, including new activities for families on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the museum.
