TEACHING THE CON-SCIENCE OF ART
The list of artists interested in the plastic creation that associates and assimilates technological investigations of other fields is increasing. In their work we find interrelations with aspects of bioengineering, microbiology, genetics, biosensors, ecology, perception and cognition, no linear systems, nanotechnology, rapid prototyping, electromagnetic spectrum, frequency of sound, GPS localization and monitoring systems, particle physics, physical modification, life processes, dynamic fluids, solar energy, atmospheric agents, fire, magnetism, and much more, which makes us reflect on the adaptation of teaching in the peak of transdisciplinarity and its participative and creative processes.
An art not necessarily framed in a computer screen or audiovisual projection, which is headed towards interactivity and perceptive sensorial plurality and tends to the dimensional diversity of means and creation. In the scenario of the tendency to technofusions in every human aspect, it will be interesting to get to know the new tendencies, in the area where the pedagogic suggestions will have to turn into leaders, just like the new generation artistic suggestions.
