A ciegas: on the invisible

Madrid

Matadero Madrid. Paseo de la Chopera, 14. Madrid

“A ciegas. sobre lo invisible”, is the outcome of a integrative theatre workshop carried out with blind and non-blind actors and amateur dancers worked together at Matadero de Madrid between February and June 2012. The piece has been devised from material prepared by the group on the notion of the invisible: what we do not see and yet could be there. Using body, memory and imagination we travel to some of the universes that may occupy this space.

The workshop uses body and voice to investigate experiences, clichés, concepts, improvisations and documentary material on blindness, and the group creates a show that will go on to be performed in front of an audience.

Soon we will anounce the launch of the documentary film on the project, directed by Emilio Tomé.
