Actividades educativas para Educación Primaria en el Museo ICO (2019/20)

Madrid

Museo ICO. Calle Zorrilla, 3. Madrid

Located on the Paseo del Arte, Museo ICO promotes an ambitious annual program of temporary exhibitions designed to offer a broader and more complete view of current art and knowledge of different aspects of the artist’s role in our time, different ways of conceiving an artwork and different creative processes.

During the 2019-20 school year, we invite you to enjoy the museum with your class through a workshop-visit. Our goal is to promote new experiences and manners of perceiving current art. The first part of the activity consists of a dynamic visit to the showrooms, in which students will investigate and discover the secrets of the artist as he conceived his or her work.  Subsequently, we will carry out a workshop related to the subject of the visit, which will allow them to experience the previously discovered concepts themselves.

The activities take place on academic Tuesdays and Thursdays from October through May, from 10:00 to 12:00. For the conservation of the artworks and the comfort of the group, the maximum number of participants is limited to 25 people. Both the activity and the resources and learning materials are totally free. Each school must contract its own transportation if need be.
