Educational Activities at Casa del Lector

Casa del Lector is a large cultural center designed for the exploration of reading as a form of interpreting and understanding reality that extends far beyond the written word. There we will discover that we read words, but also images, sounds and music, art and science…
Located in various buildings in the Matadero Madrid complex, Casa del Lector serves primarily to experiment with reading, its new manifestations and promotion, and the training of its intermediaries. Among the actions reserved for children, hablarenarte: is launching a program of educational activities for elementary-school students and families with six to twelve-year-old children. These activities will focus on the center’s temporary exhibitions.
