Efe'75. Visits for Secondary & High School Students

Madrid

Casa del Lector. Paseo de la Chopera, 14. Madrid

Once again, and on behalf of Casa del Lector we would like to invite you for joining us for the workshops and visits that are intended for Secondary School and High School Students. The program will start in October 2015 and is realized within the framework of the temporary exhibition Efe’75. The history of the first global Spanish news agency.

By the means of photographs, documents, audio files and technical devices, the show follows the evolution of the Efe News Agency throughout its now 75 years of existence  - an evolution that is obviously closely connected to the development of contemporary journalism as well to the most important historical, political and social events of our and the worlds’ recent history.

The program, designed for Secondary School and High School Students (13-17 years), will take place from October to December on every Tuesday and Thursday from 12.30 to 14.00. The guided tour focuses especially on a dynamic and practical outline. We wish to give room to dialogue and knowledge transmission through several short dynamic group exercises.  During the visit we will reflect, among others, on questions that concern the contemporary journalism, the mass media and the role that the news agencies have when it comes to prepare a true and verified, objective and impartial article.
