Músicas memorables - #2 Musical Production Residence
Musical Production Residence
Madrid, Conde Duque / CRA Matadero
Músicas Memorables begins its second phase!
Once the oral tradition laboratories with elder people have finished (Pamplona, Valencia and Madrid), the musical production residence begins together with artists Christian Fernández Mirón, Le Parody and Julián Mayorga.
Once the oral tradition laboratories have been carried out, in this phase of the project the material collected in the meetings with the groups of elderly people is listened to and the three artists respond through a process of common creation, generating new materials through composition, recording and editing.
The artists will contribute their own subjectivity to generate songs and variations in which the participants of the laboratories will also intervene. This collaborative work will lead to a hybrid repertoire that will culminate with the recording of memorable music songs and the subsequent reunion with the communities that inspired it, in the tour that will take place at the final phase.
