Workshops CCSC

July 9 , 10-14.30 h Medialab-Prado, Madrid

More than ever, we have to build the cultural politics of tomorrow. It is a challenge that we present along with 20 cultural European organisations based in 6 countries.

Throughout 2019 and 2020, we will gather information to experiment and propose cultural politics that arise from art and citizen initiatives, creating a dialogue with cultural institutions and public administration.

To undertake this project in Madrid, we will work in partnership with Medialab-Prado, Intermediae, and Inovation and New Projects branch of Madrid Destino.

Building on the acquired experience on flagship programs within the framework of the decentralization and cultural closeness, we propose to design new devices aiming at a greater autonomy and temporality.

Workshop: Cultural policies to the enpowerment of the common

July 9 - 10h-14:30h - Medialab - Prado

On the first workshop, we will work on a dodesigned prototype that will gather experiences, learning, and challenges from the Experimenta Distrito programme, to collectively build a device that will focus on:

  • developing autonomy and continuous project structures;
  • decentralizing and building networks;
  • generating agile and innovative collaborating social and public bodies.

The workshop also aims at generating a dialogue and work space between various agents' profiles: public administration technicians, artists, citizen initiatives, public employees, etc. A meeting point to enable new collaborating mechanisms.

The following workshops content will be decided among the participants building on the processes and results acquired from each of the work group.
