The Circulo de Bellas Artes organizes for the first time in Spain the Fête de la Musique in Madrid. The venues of Círculo de Bellas Artes make room for all kinds of music for a whole day during Friday June 21, 2002. The Fête de la Musique is dedicated to all kinds of music and all public, ensuring the diversity of musical expression, mass participation and diversity of spaces.

The 2002 edition is devoted to the "young performer", with the participation of over 450 musicians offering the audience a repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz, from world music to rock, contemporary music, salsa, theatre plays and so on. 
During this day the Circulo de Bellas Artes, together with the music magazine Doce Notas and hablarenarte: welcomes more than 4000 people during fourteen hours.
