Círculo de Bellas Artes welcomed for the second consecutive year the Music Day in Madrid, international event that celebrates the beginning of the summer with various initiatives related to music. Dance, musical theatre, cinema, photography and, most of all, a lot of music took up all of the rooms of the building on Saturday 21 st of July, which coincided with the summer solstice.
Music from the world, rock, pop, percussion, salsa, contemporary music, classic music, jazz, stage's representations, and much more, were the true protagonists of a day that celebrated in Madrid the arrival of the summer .+ info

Alicante , 27 th , 28 th and 29 th of September 2004 .

The course was realized during three days, coinciding with the twentieth edition of the Festival International de Música Contemporánea de Alicante, at complementary times, which allowed the participants to see the concerts. The space set aside for its development was the Casino de Alicante, which, for its comfort and its nearness to the auditoriums, constitutes a suitable enclave. The course certificated 3 credits to the participants (2 theoretical and 1 practical, which correspond to 30 hours of lesson) .+ info

With the name of the association we constituted a radio programme on contemporary art specifically designed for Radio Círculo. From December 2003, every Thursday from 10pm to 11pm you can listen to the programme “Hablar en arte” on the dial 100.4 FM or on the web page of the Círculo de Bellas Artes .

It is a specialized programme, but entertaining and comprehensible by any listener, that pursues the diffusion of contemporary art in parallel with the traditional lines.

“Círculo de Bellas Artes" joined the principal cultural centres of the Country for the promotion of pedagogic activities for pupils, with the intention of approaching children to Contemporary Art in an open, entertaining and didactic perspective, which is a fundamental necessity in our society in order to attract new audience and create new habits in the spare time. We must dedicate our work to a matter pending, “to learn to see art” .

The Association Hablar en Arte was in charge of undertaking this initiative with “Veo, veo” projects, didactic activities created from the visit of selected expositions of Círculo de Bellas Artes. “Proyectos Veo, veo” are dedicated to pupils of primary education from the schools of the Comunidad de Madrid, with particular interest for those in the public field, since various activities addressed to children of ages between 6 and 12 years old exist .+ info

“We are all artists”. On the basis of the assertion by the brilliant Joseph Beuys, a project of weekend in a hostel has been developed. It has been set for the initiative “Convivir es vivir” by the Direccion General de Juventud de la Comunidad de Madrid. Moreover, from 2006/2007, it takes place in the schools as an extracurricular activity .

Sure that both creation and contemplation of art are indispensable resources for children education, the association Hablar en Arte has planned a series of activities that would complete a cycle of “creation of artists”. From simple exercises of initial introduction to art to the culmination with an exhibition of the works by the children, the activity poses as a cultural challenge that they have to pass together in order to turn into true artists .+ info
