Joined with the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, and with the collaboration of the Fundación Arte y Derecho, the Asociaction Hablar en Arte programmed an innovative educational project directed towards adolecents in collaboration avec le Circulo de Bellas Artes.

“Inmersión al Arte” was an educational activity that combined art theory and practice. Discussions and workshops were held in the Círculo de Bellas Artes, and visits to different museums are organized for each group. This pedagogical program was designed for high school students of public, private, and publicy subsidized schools in the Comunidad de Madrid.+ info

Workshops of Contemporary Art

The workshop “Ruta por el Arte Actual” analysed the work of the last artistic creation by means of the direct observation of pieces of work of art. The result of the activity of the workshop, developed through various artistic techniques, was the construction of a space of creation and reflection. Addressed to young people between 17 and 25 years old.

The workshop was thought as an “initiation journey” towards Contemporary Art, in which the young artists could undertake a way that would bring them to find out what is hidden in the exposition rooms of the Círculo de Bellas Artes and other cultural centres; in addition they elaborated, as a logbook, a ragbag that they filled with the objects, materials and creations that they produced together with the artists selected to travel with them. + info

With the name of the association we constituted a radio programme on contemporary art specifically designed for Radio Círculo. From December 2003, every Thursday from 10pm to 11pm you can listen to the programme “Hablar en arte” on the dial 100.4 FM or on the web page of the Círculo de Bellas Artes .

It is a specialized programme, but entertaining and comprehensible by any listener, that pursues the diffusion of contemporary art in parallel with the traditional lines.

After Círculo de Bellas Artes , which welcomes this project for the third consecutive year, Calcografía Nacional , situated in Calle Alcalá nº13 (28014, Madrid), turns into one of the new locations that hosts in 2005/06 “Proyectos Veo, veo”, didactic activities dedicated to pupils from 6 to 12 years old from the public schools of Madrid.

The pursue of these activities is to provide children with a first approach to art, expositive spaces and museums in an entertaining, pleasant and amusing way. + info

“We are all artists”. On the basis of the assertion by the brilliant Joseph Beuys, a project of weekend in a hostel has been developed. It has been set for the initiative “Convivir es vivir” by the Direccion General de Juventud de la Comunidad de Madrid. Moreover, from 2006/2007, it takes place in the schools as an extracurricular activity .

Sure that both creation and contemplation of art are indispensable resources for children education, the association Hablar en Arte has planned a series of activities that would complete a cycle of “creation of artists”. From simple exercises of initial introduction to art to the culmination with an exhibition of the works by the children, the activity poses as a cultural challenge that they have to pass together in order to turn into true artists .+ info
