The Exibition, Eulalia Valldosera Dependencias, organized by the Reina Sofia, recovered an ample selection of works by this artist that spans from 1990 until the present. It was designed to meet two objectives. On one hand, to present the most recent works ( Dependencias, a monumental installation of participatory character), that has been produced specifically for this exhibition and because of that one could say that Valledosera has opened a new cycle in her life. On the other hand, she has revised the evolution of her work since the beginning until the end of the eighties, incorporating her notebooks that have been poorly represented in previous exhibitions, to give knowledge to her intense period of reflection between the years of 1990 and 1992.
Another fundamental objective of this show, explained Curator Nuria Enguita, is the service in the value of discourse which develops from the writing and recording sensations, thoughts, readings and talks and that promotes the narrative as a conceptual base and experience that has emerged as a large part of her future work .

In the exhibition were three works of a participatory nature, which invited the public to interact with the pieces.
Dependencias (2008)
is the principle work, in which articulates the rest of the contents in this exposition. With this work, Valldosera takes themes from cinematic devices, a narrative implicit from which the character's performance is her mise en scene. The artist radically assumes the loss of control about ones creation. Like in the supermarket, the airport or the museum, public spaces in a permanent state of disillusion, it is proposed that the visitor converts into the user and that which pushes a shopping cart containing video projectors. Each car projects a flat amount recorded in the form of travelling. The displacement of the travelling film joins the movement of the viewer, propelling, stops or reverses its course. With its simple mechanic, the viewer becomes aware of the way in which images are recorded, filmed and the reality that is subject to the interpretation that the devices will capture the image exerted on it
.
The combinations of public and private scenes reveal to us the simultaneous states of perceptions, the diverse coexistence of linear narratives that are surged when we combine our individual and collective experiences. Dependencias, experiments with the states of perception in full mobility and refers to the necessity of control and to the search of references of marks that determine our position in the world.

In Botellas Interactivas (Forever Living Products nº3) (2008) the spectator-user of the work accesses a series of conversations or testimonials that emerge from the interior of these bottles of detergent in nothing different than what is in the stores or in our homes. They speak to us of experiences of some people they wish to erase from their lives and we allow as well recording ourselves. The work, El periodo , notes in her journals from 1996 but realized in 2006, the reference of the organic feminine series but also the routine of the days, the calendar, and the reiteration of gestures: a baby cart that contains a light source that is powered by the public and advances in a semicircle in the shadows of a series of glasses of wine to recreate natural light that has been made in film.
Given the participatory nature with which she intends to involve the public, Hablar en Arte works with the Reina Sofia to coordinate a group of mediators in the opening hours of the room with the intent to inform and assist each visitor to the fullest enjoyment of both the observation and full interaction of the pieces.
