The spoken Word series Palabras Habladas was created to show the public the best of the national spoken word, with names such as Javier Corcobado, Ray Loriga, Eloy Fernández Porta and Nacho Vegas .

Bruno Galindo and Javier Colis closed the cycle of Spoken Word, accompained by the teacher of our workshops; Julio Jara, whose students showed the work done over these months.

Javier Colis is one of the key figures of the avant-garde rock of our country and poetry linked to rock. Builds on a prolific career as composer, guitarist and author of seminal bands like Vamos a Morir, Demonios tus Ojos or Mil Dolores Pequeños. His new band is Javier Colis y las Malas Lenguas, published in February 2009 “Otra Nube” (Nuevos Medios). During 2008, also has been touring (and read) by Spain and France, in a show of Spoken Word, by the Beat Generation poet John Giorno. The February 2008 toured the United States, in collaboration with the IEA, which played in New York, Los Angeles, Ojai and the Instituto Cervantes in Albuquerque, beginning a career that will bring you back on tour in USA in October 2009. As a cultural agitator, Javier Colis co-directs the International Festival of Spoken Word "Word and Music ".


Bruno Galindo, writer and journalist, has been appointed as one of the revitalizing of the spoken word in Spain. In recent years he has shared literary and musical calls with Blixa Bargeld, Julian Cope, Arto Lindsay, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Amiri Baraka, John Giorno, Dennis Rollins and Hanif Kureishi. His bibliography includes titles such as Africa equilátera ( Lunas hienas , África para sociedades secretas ( Rafael Pérez Estrada Prize) y Duna 45 ), Vasos comunicantes y Diarios de Corea (Debate/Random House, 2007).

Palabras Habladas was invented in order to work as a meeting point for artists and the public in the field of spoken word, a discipline where writers, poets and musicians got on stage and performed their own interpretation of what they think is this scenic crossover. During all the year of 2009, the cream of spanish spoken word artists performed at CAMON space in Alicante.
