Art Galleries in Madrid and Barcelona

a3bandas is a program of curated exhibitions in contemporary art galleries that are held simultaneously during seven weeks approx. It interconnnects curators with gallerists, brings new artists in the galleries and opens the doors of contemporary art galleries to a much broader public, seeking to achieve maximum quality exhibitions by combining the efforts of galleries, curators and, of course, artists.

a3bandas has been held in Madrid each April and May since 2011 and has become a fixed event on the annual calendar of contemporary art in Spain. Its first two editions were conceived and directed by Virginia Torrente, who continues to collaborate as a member of the advisory board. The hablarenarte: association continues the work since 2013.

The celebration of the fourth edition of "a3bandas" will be held from Saturday, April 5 to Saturday 24 May 2014 in Madrid and Barcelona. For further information: www.a3bandas.org
