CONJUNCIONES. Segundo encuentro de mediación cultural en la educación superior

Last February 2025, CONJUNCIONES took place in Madrid. It was the first national gathering of master’s and postgraduate programs related to cultural mediation, arts education, art, and cultural participation.

Co-organized by the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Carasso Foundation, and hablarenarte, at the La Corrala (UAM) / Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, the event aimed to provide a space to explore, acknowledge, and articulate the educational fabric of cultural mediation, drawing from diverse and related fields such as cultural mediation, museum education, music pedagogy, applied theater, contextual artistic practices, art history, and cultural management.

CONJUNCIONES served as a vital forum for building networks and sharing challenges and opportunities that impact the teaching environment, the student body, the content of training programs, and the relationship between master’s and postgraduate programs and the cultural and professional worlds.

With the aim of expanding the network and strengthening the participation of new partners, the Carasso Foundation and hablarenarte wish to open up the possibility of holding the second edition of CONJUNCIONES at a different university that would like to serve as a co-organizer, mobilizing its resources to make this new event a reality on a date mutually agreed upon in 2027.
To gather proposals and ideas, the following form has been made available; it will remain open until June 19, 2026.
At the end of June 2026, the proposals will be evaluated by the Carasso Foundation, hablarenarte, and the UAM team that participated in organizing the first event and remains a partner of the program.
The program will provide the necessary resources to hold the event, but will appreciate and positively evaluate proposals that contribute commitment, time, ideas, venues, or any other resources that can strengthen CONJUNCIONES.
