Cuidar es Punk Festival
Madrid
The Cuidar es Punk Festival addresses the urgent need to reclaim the space, time, and place to care for ourselves and rest in times of imposed frenzy. Caring for one another by building strong bonds, weaving relationships that empower us. Caring is conspiring: breathing together and keeping each other company. Cuidar es Punk places us within a framework of interdependence, in the recognition of a mutual connection through which we nurture our sense of community.
This first edition of the Cuidar es Punk Festival, curated by hablarenarte, stems from a collaborative invitation extended to Jorge Dutor and Guillem Mont de Palol, drawing on a shared history and experience rooted in the Cumbre de Sanadoras—a collective healing space held at the association’s Planta Baja venue in 2023.
It will take place on October 11th, 15th, and 16th, with the following program:

The Milky Way, a performance by María García Vera
- Date: October 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
- Venue: Infinito Delicias (Auditorium)

“In a context where imagining alternatives to our ways of life and production seems increasingly difficult, I wonder how to take a first step that sets us on a different path, no matter how small it may be.”
The Milky Way is a performative lecture centered on the concept of beginning: the beginning of a process, an action, a journey. María explores how to take a first step that sets a new course in motion. The piece is structured as an accumulation of beginnings and poses the question: How can we remain in the moment when something new emerges, when we’re moving so fast that we can’t stay put?
The Fourth Encounter with Jorge Dutor and Guillem Mont de Palol, in collaboration with Alessandra García.
- Date: October 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
- Location: Infinito Delicias (Auditorium)
- Free admission with registration here.
Alessandra, Jorge, and Guillem invite us to conspire together and shape this ceremony to connect with hope and joy as a powerful state of transformation: working from the politics of enthusiasm rooted in the body and strategies of autofiction to generate a dramaturgy of sharing. The Fourth Encounter is full of contagious energy; it seeks to navigate a collective sense of sustenance in the face of exhaustion.
Jorge and Guillem have been a couple for nearly 20 years and work—through the performing arts—with the body, the voice, and language, for the sake of opening consciousness, evolution, and healing. Alessandra García is a creator, performer, organizer, agitator, programmer, supporter, companion, and coordinator of it all.
The “Festival de la Cuidar es Punk” is supported by the Madrid City Council’s 2026–2027 Grant Program for Festivals and Cultural Fairs.
