Curso Diseño de Proyectos Expositivos

In collaboration with the Alicante Provincial Council, hablarenarte is offering a workshop that explores the different models and types of exhibition projects. The course methodology consists of theoretical classes and group activities, presentations of practical examples and case studies, and discussions based on the participants’ own professional experiences.

Aimed at professionals in local and provincial government involved in the management of exhibition spaces, cultural centers, museum facilities, and visual arts initiatives in general (culture, youth, tourism, education, etc.), the objective is both to understand the different phases and elements involved in producing an exhibition and to generate sustainable networked projects, fostering partnerships between institutions and organizations of various kinds.

The course consists of three daily modules:

Conceptualization and Exhibition Design

Exhibition models: typologies based on content, formats, host organizations, duration, etc.
Design and concept of the exhibition project: two sides of the same coin.
Stakeholders involved in the development of an exhibition.
Project proposal writing.
Project report.
Exhibition production and installation: management tools and technical installation.

The Exhibition as a Tool for Communication and Mediation

Internal and external communication.
Strategies for engaging different audiences.
Promotional materials for visitors.
Press: communication strategy.
Educational program and accompanying activities.
Looking for My Better Half
Sponsorships and funding.
Sources of public funding at the local, national, and international levels.
Partnerships with other organizations. The importance of networking.
Sustainability of exhibition proposals.

Each day of the workshop includes group activities so that participants can practice what they’ve learned and apply it to specific cases related to their own fields of work.
