Dejar abierto al salir
In art, not everything is possible, but here, something is. We’re going to discover what that “something” is together—each time, whoever is there, with whatever we have: our bodies, our voices, our stories.
Through the painting and photography exhibitions, in the space provided by Mapfre Foundation.
With the team of facilitators dedicated to making this a welcoming space and time.
Let’s try to make something happen.
Over the course of a workshop-tour, we’ll ask questions with and about art, with life on the horizon. Always with the desire to make life more interesting than art. That would truly be something. That would truly be making a difference. Leaving different from how we arrived and taking something back to our daily lives.
Overcoming mistrust, spending time together, leaving a mark.
And leaving things open as we leave.

These workshop visits are designed for everyone. So far, we’ve been visited by Moha, Youssef, Fátima, Vassily, Ivan, Filly, Mercedes, Rosa, and many more participants.
They’ve come through associations, foundations, and NGOs, with groups of unaccompanied minors, Ukrainian refugees, older adults with mild language and memory loss, and migrant women seeking employment.
We believe that cultural rights matter and that they also include the right to images—to look at them together, to do something with them, from handling them to immersing ourselves in them, to turning our backs on them if they don’t interest us.

MAPFRE Foundation Exhibitions:
Between March and May, the exhibitions we’ll be working with are Helen Levitt and Anders Zorn. Travel the world, remember the earth.
On the autumn horizon, we catch a glimpse of new exhibitions:
Pre-Raphaelite: Women’s Paths (1850–1914): women artists’ response to a movement against academic art. Emerged in mid-19th-century England.
The Other Side of the Avant-Garde: Discover the dialogue between psychiatric patients and avant-garde art in the 1920s.
Minor White: The photographer conceived of images as expressions of inner states, viewing photography as a contemplative experience.
