Mentoring at the 2026 Artist-in-Residence Program at LABoral Center for Art and Industrial Creation
Gijón, Asturias
March 1, 2026 – July 31, 2026
This year, we are pleased to support the artists selected for the First Call for Applications for the 2026 Artist Residency Program (I Convocatoria de Residencias Artísticas 2026), a program organized by LABoral Center for Art and Industrial Creation for artists from Asturias or residing in Asturias.
The selected projects are “Astur-Andalusí Transgenic Cyberherbarium” (Ciberherbario transgénico Astur-Andalusí) by Andrea de la Rubia, “Lend Me Your Eyes” (Préstame tus ojos) by Natalia Grande, and “To Sound Like A Tree” (Sonar a árbol) by José María Rodríguez Gómez.
With the launch of the 2026 program, specialized mentorship sessions are being introduced, designed to enrich and enhance the development of the resident projects. Flavia Introzzi, a cultural manager, curator, and director of hablarenarte, is one of the mentors leading this effort, alongside art critic and independent curator Luis Feás.
We will focus on providing ongoing guidance, offering personalized support for the research and conceptualization processes throughout the residency period.
