PALMA. Group of educational imagination

MAPFRE Foundation, Madrid

Palma is a public program of MAPFRE Foundation and hablarenarte that takes the form of an educational experimentation group.

It is a space to unlearn, explore and use the Recoletos Exhibition Hall in another way. Composed of around thirty teachers and cultural mediators, Palma meets every fortnight to share ways of doing things and developing other imaginaries at the intersection between art and education.

Palma is an invitation that wants to be a group. It is an assembly of educators like the palm of a hand in which our interests, proposals, desires and doubts fit. It is a place, a food, a voice, an outside, a gift. A guided tour without words, a room page made with gestures, a tour of the guts of the museum, a class that is yet to be done, a school that has no walls, a loving pedagogy and a trembling voice.
