Seminar "Intercambio de lugares"

Within the framework of the research project HAR2012 – 32609, wherein hablarenarte: figures as Observing and Promoting Entity, the group "Contemporary Visual Culture" of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid organizes the Seminar Intercambio de lugares.
Ever since, art history has been developed through institutions; founders of the discipline and since then the most important contributors are obviously the university and the museum; although archives and most recently also cultural mediation have become active parts. The articulation and development of these areas has led to a profound conceptual and professional rethinking on how we produce knowledge and, at this juncture, also a certain social interest which is worth to be reflected by the discipline.
Intercambio de lugares aims to open a dialogue between the academia and other institutions related to art, heritage and culture in order to address, among other experiences, points of divergence and already existing relations.
