Talleres creativos para Educación Infantil en el Museo ICO. (2022/2023)

Madrid

Museo ICO. Calle Zorrilla, nº 3

hablarenarte invites you to be part of our newest programme of education for pre-school (2º year) children, which will be launched in December at Museo ICO.

Through a visit to the exhibition spaces and by simple games and experiments, not only will we know about the Museum, but we will also have the chance to learn how architects work and what tools they use to carry out their work.

We will then move on to the workshop, where the participants will become young architects and will be able to experiment with what they have learnt with different materials like real professionals.

We are waiting for you!

Curricular Interest Areas for Pre-School Education (2nd year)

The activities designed and developed by hablarenarte on architecture and urban space at Museo ICO are totally adapted to educational content and skills of Pre-School Education (2º year), articulated in different areas related to the experience and child development:

  • Self-knowledge and personal autonomy (interaction with the environment, emotional development, initiative in task accomplishment…).
  • Enviromental knowledge (exploring actively, maths and geometry introduction, basic spatial orientation…).
  • Language: communication and representation (using the language as an instrument of learning, expressing emotions and feelings, beginning with communicational participation, knowing art works expressed in different languages…).

The activities take place on academic Thursdays from November through May, from 10:00 to 12:00. For the conservation of the artworks and the comfort of the group, the maximum number of participants is limited to 25-30 people. Both the activity and the resources and learning materials are totally free. Each school must contract its own transportation if need be.
