Zero espazioa en el Museo Guggenheim Bilbao

Bilbao

Museo Guggenheim Bilbao. Avenida Abandoibarra, 2.

Zero Espazioa was created by the architect César Caicoya in partnership with the artist Maider López who acted as artistic advisor. It is a space set up for the purpose of enriching the experience of the visitors, using a series of interactive displays and other tools developed and produced by Artempus.

The space comprises two information areas with details about the museum, its arts programme and its facilities. The first area has six touchscreens providing information on the museum schedule, plus the services and educational resources on offer. Users can put together their own tailor-made route round the Guggenheim according to how much time they have or who they are with, then print it out and take it with them. In the second area, ten laptop computers allow users to look up detailed information on the museum collections and past exhibitions. They can also watch interviews with artists and ask questions about the museum and the exhibitions held there.

The interactive displays are available in four languages: Basque, Spanish, English and French.

As part of its activities aimed at promoting new educational and cultural dissemination strategies, hablarenarte: is collaborating in setting up this new innovative project by studying, developing, managing and coordinating the multimedia content.
